Simtel Team: Romanian Tech Firm Seeks to Issue €30M in Corporate Bonds

The Simtel Team (SMTL), an engineering and technology company listed on the main market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange and a top player in renewable energy within Romania, plans to raise EUR 30 million through the issuance of corporate bonds.

The company's leadership has scheduled an EGM (Extraordinary General Meeting) of shareholders for April 24-25, aiming to seek authorization for the issuance of corporate bonds.

On the same day, the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders is anticipated to keep the net profit of RON 32.28 million (EUR 6.5 million) earned in 2024 as retained earnings, with only a minor portion set aside for the legal reserve, as per expectations. Profit.ro .

The Simtel team, co-founded by Radu Vilău, Iulian Nedea, and Sergiu Bazarciuc—each owning approximately 21% of the shares—was introduced to the AeRO market in 2021 before being elevated to the main board of the Bucharest Stock Exchange. With a current valuation of RON 367.42 million (approximately EUR 73.74 million), the firm has made significant strides since inception.
