On Friday, ODM chief Raila Odinga and ex-Attorney General Amos Wako met up at Odinga's Capitol Hill office in Nairobi to reminisce about their past association.

The two leaders met again and shared perspectives on current events, contemplating their common history and future goals.

"It’s always invigorating to reconnect with ex-Attorney General and Busia Senator Amos Wako," Odinga shared on his social media account.

In an image viewed by the Star, the pair was spotted sharing warm grins while their hands gripped tightly in a firm shake during their encounter.

The two leaders have collaborated before, with one of the standout moments occurring last year when Odinga’s Azimio la Umoja alliance led Amos Wako to head a trio of evaluators assigned to review the 2022 presidential election outcomes.

This choice highlighted the coalition's faith in Wako’s legal skills and his dedication to maintaining transparency throughout elections.

His meeting follows a string of discussions the ex-prime minister has been having with various leaders.

"I consulted with our experts from the wide-ranging coalition along with our parliamentary leaders on Thursday to discuss national and upcoming issues," Raila said.

Recently, the head of ODM has noticed an increase in his clout, with prominent government representatives attending events he organizes. This became clear after he entered into a cooperative arrangement with President William Ruto.
