Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has been plunged into deep sorrow following the sudden passing of its Executive Chairman, Mrs. Bolatito Shobowale.
News of her passing caused tremors throughout the community, with Acting Chairman Otunba Ladi Oluwaloni (OLO 1) calling it an immense tragedy.
As he mentioned, the devastating information arrived when he was on an official duty at the Lagos State Secretariat.
"Honorable Chief (Mrs.) Shobowale wasn’t just a leader; she was a symbol of hope, a guide, and a nurturing figure for numerous individuals. Her steadfast commitment to community growth and enhancing Ayobo-Ipaja will always remain etched in our memories," stated Oluwaloni during an emotional tribute.
Shobowale was celebrated as a transformative leader who initiated various development projects, encompassing infrastructure improvements, enhanced healthcare services, and community empowerment programs.
Her unyielding determination to improve Ayobo-Ipaja significantly impacted the LCDA's advancement.
Oluwaloni ensured that her heritage of dedication and uprightness will keep inspiring coming generations.
Her departure creates an unfillable gap, yet we must continue with the principles she advocated for," he said further. "May God provide her with everlasting peace and offer us the resilience to maintain her dream for Ayobo-Ipaja.
