
Taipei [Taiwan], March 22 (ANI): As stated by Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense, the country recorded 47 sorties of Chinese military planes along with seven naval vessels near its shores by 6 am local time on Saturday.
According to the MND, among 47 sorties, 41 flew across the median line into Taiwan’s northern, southwestern, and eastern Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ).
On a post on X, MND stated, “Up until 6 a.m. (UTC+8) today, we identified 47 Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) aircraft, 7 People's Liberation Navy (PLAN) ships, and 1 government vessel active around Taiwan. Of these 47 missions, 41 flew across the median line into Taiwan’s northern, southwestern, and eastern Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ). Our forces tracked this activity and took appropriate action.”
