Kathmandu, May 25 – According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the current weather conditions throughout the nation are being influenced by westerly and local wind patterns. Additionally, there is some impact from moist air originating from both the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea.
Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Sudurpaschim provinces along with other hilly areas are anticipated to experience mostly cloudy to overcast conditions, whereas the remainder of the nation will enjoy predominantly clear to partially clouded weather.
This afternoon, thunderstorms accompanied by light to moderate precipitation are anticipated in certain sections of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Sudurpaschim, along with scattered portions of other zones. Additionally, a few higher hilltops and mountains may experience light rain or snowfall.
The Division has urged the public to exercise caution as the weather conditions may affect daily life, agriculture, health, road and air transport.
