An issue with the system has affected Standard Chartered Bank Kenya’s digital platforms, branches, and credit operations.
The bank briefly notified its customers that they were addressing the issue, also mentioning that the malfunction had not impacted ATM operations.
The message stated, "Dear Customer, we are presently encountering a system disruption impacting all of our digital channels, branches, and card services."
The lending institution, which boasts more than 25 branches nationwide, states they will provide an update as soon as all services have been completely reinstated.
