Fans Just Ranked the Best Fast Food Chicken Wrap and the Winner Might Surprise You

It’s been six weeks since McDonald’s announced the return of its beloved Snack Wrap—and just five since it officially hit menus. In that short time, our feeds have been flooded with updates, reactions and plenty of wrap reviews.

Now that fans have had a chance to revisit their nostalgic McDonald’s Snack Wrap, opinions have been rolling in like wildfire—and they’re pretty mixed. To see how other fast food chicken wraps stack up against the comeback kid, one fan took it upon herself to host a little “Wrap Battle” of her own.

“Who has the BEST chicken “snack” wrap,” @morganchomps asked viewers in the caption of her post. “Since McDonald’s just brought back their Snack Wraps, I figured I’d try out wraps from five different spots,” she says in her video. “So let’s see who has the ultimate best.”

To conduct her experiment fairly, Morgan snagged chicken wraps from five well-known fast food chains: McDonald’s, Popeyes, Wendy’s, Arby’s and Burger King. She sampled each one, rated them on a scale of 1–10 and listed their price and ingredients. The results? A tremendous upset by Popeyes, coming in with a solid score of 9.5/10.

“Wow, that is a solid chicken wrap,” Morgan says, processing the texture and flavor of her first bite. “The chicken itself is crispy and crunchy, and I love the texture with the cheese and the soft tortilla,” she adds. “The pickles add a nice crunch, and the creamy mayo just ties it all in. Definitely has that Popeyes taste.”

Popeye’s Chicken Wrap sells for $3.99 and comes with their classic chicken strip inside with lettuce, cheese, pickles and mayo. And considering Morgan’s extremely high score for the wrap, it’s no wonder fans were in the comments echoing her review.

“Popeyes looks the best to me,” one fan announced. “Looks like I need to head over to Popeyes,” another added, while a third said, “Love it when the sauce person is On Duty”—a nod to Morgan’s consistent commentary on the sauce levels of each wrap.

Rounding out the rest of the list: Burger King’s Royal Crispy Wrap came in second, followed by Arby’s Chicken Wrap in third, Wendy’s Grilled Chicken Wrap in fourth and—surprisingly—McDonald’s Snack Wrap in last place.

“Pretty standard chicken wrap,” Morgan says of the McDonald’s Spicy Snack Wrap. “I like that they put a lot of sauce,” she adds. “Chicken is kinda dry. Nothing uniquely McDonald’s about it.”

Have you tried them all? We’re curious how you would rank this list. While we wait, we’ll be over at Popeyes.
