James Van Der Beek's widow Kimberly revealed the special trait that their eldest child Olivia shares with the late actor.
Nearly two months earlier, the Dawson's Creek alum passed away on February 11 at the age of 48 following a battle with colorectal cancer - with his loved ones confirming the tragic news on social media.
Kimberly, 44, and Van Der Beek married in 2010 and welcomed six children: Olivia, 15, Joshua, 14, Annabel, 12, Emilia, 10, Gwendolyn, seven, and Jeremiah, four.
She took to her Instagram stories on Monday to share a sweet selfie with her eldest daughter as they posed outside.
In text added towards the bottom of the image, the mom-of-six penned: 'My first born baby has her Daddy's gorgeous smile @vanderlivy.'
The pair both sent small smiles towards the camera as Kimberly took the memorable picture.

Van Der Beek's death was confirmed in a post shared to his Instagram account on February 11.
It read, 'Our beloved James David Van Der Beek passed peacefully this morning. He met his final days with courage, faith, and grace.
'There is much to share regarding his wishes, love for humanity and the sacredness of time. Those days will come. For now we ask for peaceful privacy as we grieve our loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend.'
Back in November 2024, the actor had announced his stage three colorectal cancer diagnosis.
A source previously told the Daily Mail that he 'had not been in treatment for a while because there was nothing more the doctors could do, the cancer was aggressive.'
Fans and celebrities penned emotional tributes to the late star after news of his passing came to light - including his former Dawson's Creek castmates such as Katie Holmes.
Last month on March 8, Kimberly took to her Instagram stories to share a series of photos of her late husband on what would have been his 49th birthday.
One slide showed the couple posing together as she wrote, 'Would be your 49th birthday today. And I'm missing you tremendously.'

Another slide showed Van Der Beek taking a selfie with four of his six children.
Kimberly added the caption, 'You are the light of our lives. Your love. Beauty. Presence. Tenderness. Protection. Safety. Creativity. Singing.'
She also included a family picture and emotionally added, 'Baby, you were the best humanity had to offer. This is a loss I don't know how to process. I will love you forever.'
Kimberly additionally shared a video that daughter Emilia made at the time as well.
'Emilia asked me if she could make a video to post today, walked outside and came back with this,' she explained. 'In my stories are a whole lot of photos and some videos.
'All I want to do is watch videos of him right now with the kids. Thank you for the tremendous heart, love and support for the family.'
She concluded with, 'James... We will celebrate March 8th every day for the rest of our lives.'
In the clip, Emilia could be seen sitting outside as she offered tips on handling grief and wore a cap which she explained she 'stole' from her dad to remember him.

She also shared how she talks to her father every day.
'I just tell him about my day, how I'm feeling, and I told my family how I'm feeling. And I know he can hear me, but I can't hear him.'
Emilia added, 'I know that my dad's in a good place. He's not in pain anymore. He's in heaven above the clouds with God and the Lord.'
The 10-year-old revealed the special advice that the late star had given her before his passing.
'Something my dad told me was if this doesn't work out the way he wanted it to and the way we wanted it to for him living, I still have to believe in miracles. Miracles can still happen, just later on in life, and they'll keep coming.'
The mom-of-six also celebrated her daughter Emilia's 10th birthday a few weeks earlier on March 23.
At the time, she uploaded a throwback photo of Van Der Beek and Emilia with the text: 'Just a few heavenly months ago. Missing you my love.'

Van Der Beek had previously opened up about becoming a father and told Good Morning America in 2023 that it had changed 'everything' for him.
'You just go for that shift ... from putting yourself first to other people - these little tiny humans that you love so much - being your first priority.'
He continued, 'And then you know what you genuinely want is to take care of [them], to make them feel safe, [and] keep them safe to connect with them and feel that joy.'
The star later added, 'It's the craziest, craziest thing I've ever done, and it's the thing that's made me happiest.'
