Democrat Voters Repeat the Same Errors

California Democrat votersfor more than two decades, have caused unimaginable harm to the once mighty Golden State.

Take the seriousness of the issue into account.

Some years back, former boxing heavyweight champion Larry Holmes faced a challenging but unsuccessful journeyman fighter named Randall "Tex" Cobb.

Holmes attacked him throughout the entire match. However, Cobb remained standing.

Once Holmes struck Cobb's face with such force that the challenger's head nearly turned 180 degrees, resembling a moment from "The Exorcist."

But Cobb refused to collapse.

Holmes used every technique except a tire iron. He severely attacked Cobb for 15 rounds.

When the bell signaled the end of the fight, Cobb was still on his feet. When asked if he wanted a rematch, Cobb responded, "No, Larry's hands couldn't handle the damage."

Like Cobb, non-Democratic voters in California are composed of fire-resistant material,earthquake-proof, heavy-duty material. Year after year, Democrats who vote for Democrats elect politicians who tax, spend, and regulate, and these politicians then proceed to tax, spend, and regulate. Every foolish idea supported by Democrats in Washington D.C. has already been implemented twice in California.

The state also has the highest electricity costs among the 48 contiguous states. Additionally, California imposes the highest state income tax in the country.

California chose its final Republican for a state-wide position more than 20 years back. That'sany statewide office.

Besides securing supermajorities in the state Senate and State Assembly, Democrats have consistently chosen Democrats as mayors of Los Angeles and San Francisco. Los Angeles last selected a Republican mayor in 1997, when 30% of its voters were registered Republicans. Now that figure has dropped to 15%. California Republicans might be eligible for protection under the Endangered Species Act.

A few years back, voters approved a measure to construct a "high-speed train" connecting Los Angeles and San Francisco, with an estimated price tag of approximately $33 billion at that time. Now, the California High Speed Rail Authority projects the cost of the train — which remains unbuilt — to exceed $200 billion.

In 2023, legislators approved, and Newsom ratified, a significant increase in the minimum wage for fast food employees, amounting to almost 25%. A particular study indicated that this increase led to the loss of nearly 10,000 positions for fast food workers, including 1,100 roles that Pizza Hut eliminated right after the bill was passed by the legislature and signed by the governor.

So, what's the next step? It's time for genuine, decisive measures. We require innovative, unconventional ideas. It's time to implement term limits. Specifically, term limits for voters. REUTERS

Voters who consistently support the Democratic Party, even in the face of clear negative outcomes, show a troubling inability to think logically, make sound judgments, and evaluate the damage their choices create. Just as we might take away the keys from an alcoholic who has had too much to drink, Democrats who keep voting for the party should be given a break. Let them step back from elections for a while.

Who knows? Following required group therapy sessions for voters, Democrats who support the Democratic party might regain their voting privileges. This situation is probably temporary since many, if not most, are likely to experience a setback.

Meanwhile, California might just be rescued.

It's harsh to lose the right to vote. Opponents might argue, "We told you Republicans will do anything to limit our voting power!"

So, think about this different penalty: A required car decal: “Take the blame — I supported these fools.”
