Lara Trump, the 43-year-old Fox News host and daughter-in-law of former President Donald Trump, recently received a warning about her messaging after posting an update on her recent trip to China. The update came following a visit she made with her family to the Big Dog Ranch Rescue in Wisconsin, where she and her daughter, Carolina, met with Beagles that had been rescued from Ridglan Farms.

In a post shared on Instagram, Lara and the rescue organization highlighted their visit to the facility. The video showed Lara and her daughter releasing male dogs and playing with them by the pool at the Wisconsin Beagle breeding and research center. The post also included a message from Big Dog Ranch Rescue, which described the visit as a special moment for both the family and the animals.

The caption of the post read:

"This past weekend, Big Dog Ranch Rescue had a very special visit from Lara Trump and her family. They came to meet the Ridglan beagles they played a huge role in saving, spending time with them as they socialized, played, and even enjoyed a little swimming.

The visit took an unexpected and meaningful turn. Lara Trump ultimately left with a black pitbull in need of a foster home, reflecting the reality that the Ridglan beagles already have strong interest and are quickly on their way to loving homes.

Meanwhile, pit bulls continue to be one of the most euthanized breeds in shelters across America, often due to being mislabeled as aggressive, a false narrative that continues to fuel misunderstanding and overlooks the loving dogs they truly are.

The second most euthanized group in county shelters is black dogs, who are often overlooked simply because of their color. This sweet girl, now named Jude for hope, is a black pit bull already beginning to show what a wonderful ambassador she can be for her breed."

The message concluded with a statement that compared pit bulls to Donald Trump, noting that both are often misinterpreted and vilified in the media.

In the comments section of the post, some users expressed concern about the political nature of the message. One person wrote, "Please don't include Trump in your messages - should be only focused on the animals. You risk dividing the public's opinion on your rescue." Others defended Lara, pointing out that the Trump family has been a major benefactor to the rescue organization.

Another user wrote, "she’s one of the reasons those dogs were saved. Get help. Seriously," while another added, "you folks need serious help if you, or anyone gets triggered. How about you stop allowing your hate to be the focus and not the dogs. That's on YOU."

Despite the positive response, some users criticized the post for being too political. One wrote, "Really? You had to politicize this?" Another said, "Trump family rule number 1: Never let a photo opportunity go by." A third commented, "Disappointed to see that this became political at the end."

Lara had previously urged Ridglan Farms to accept a $1 million deal to release the 2,000 Beagles in their custody. In a video posted to Instagram on April 18, she encouraged the public to contact the farm directly and asked them to do the right thing.

"Hey, everybody. Hope you're having a nice Saturday. Um, I'm having an okay Saturday," Lara began her clip before saying her Saturday would be a lot better if Ridglan Farms took the deal to release the dogs so they could go to better, loving homes.

She continued, "Would be a lot better if Ridglan Farms, you may have heard about the Beagles at Ridglan. They are raised solely for the purpose of animal testing, which is cruel and horrific, and being phased down in large part pretty much all over our country."

"Thank you, Trump administration. Thank you, Bobby Kennedy, for that. Um, they have an opportunity to - they have an opportunity for these two thousand dogs to go to great homes, loving homes, and they have been offered by Big Dog Ranch Rescue as well as Center for Humane Economy, Wayne Pacelle's group, and some other rescues, they've been offered a million dollars, and they have refused."

"And so I would like to encourage Ridglan Farms, please do the right thing. Please ensure these dogs end up in loving homes. Please take them out of this awful situation, and please take the million dollars.

"And I would love anyone out there to encourage them as well. You can go to their website, and you can get their phone number or you can email them off of their website as well."

Lara concluded her video by saying, "So I'm asking Ridglan, please do the right thing. Please ensure these dogs have loving homes. Please give them up to these rescues. We want to help them. Thank you." Several of the Beagles from the facility have found their forever homes, but thousands still remain without one.

Lara's update on the Beagle situation comes after her presence on Trump's trip to China was questioned. She was spotted descending Air Force One alongside Eric and the 79-year-old president as they touched down in Beijing on May 13. She then joined her father-in-law for a formal welcome ceremony on May 14.

However, Lara's appearance drew unexpected backlash after photos of her arrival in Beijing began circulating online, with users comparing her to Ivanka. One X user joked, "When Lara Trump arrived in China instead of Melania, the Chinese people asked: 'Wasn't Tiffany available?' 'Is Lara like the Temu Ivanka?' 'Is she coming here to buy new body parts?' 'Is this her First Communion?' 'Can't she just stay on the plane?'"

A second user observed, "And she is wearing white, the Chinese color of mourning. Bad optics," with another suggesting, "She probably has to do his hair and make up," referring to Trump. A fourth vented, "She should be home with her kids. They have no business there. Since when does the whole start traveling with the president? Only the most important ppl would travel with them. This looks more a business."

"Lara Trump, the secret weapon of Trump. If he doesn't get his way, he'll threaten the Chinese with her singing," a fifth joked, alluding to the TV star's singing career. Someone else questioned, "So Trump brought everything and everyone and the kitchen sink on his plane to China, but Mel didn't come with him? How is MAGA going to spin that one?"

Meanwhile, it emerged that First Lady Melania Trump is "quietly resentful" of Lara Trump after the trip to China.
