Passersby pulled three girls out of the burning vehicle before firefighters arrived, and the injured teenagers were transported to UC Davis Medical Center, Mercy San Juan, and Kaiser South.Sacramento. CHP states that speed was involved and is continuing to examine possible impairment.

(fox40.com— A 70-year-old woman from Sacramento passed away after her vehicle, which was left in park, rolled back and hit her in the River Park area on Friday evening. She was transported to a nearby hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. Authorities state that there is no indication of foul play, as collision investigators are still examining the incident.

   

5. Strong gusts lead to destruction throughout Sacramento (fox40.com— High winds caused trees to fall, damaged homes and vehicles, and left over 25,000 SMUD customers in Sacramento without electricity on Sunday. Workers were seen removing debris in Midtown and other areas while residents dealt with hazardous road conditions. Local authorities recommend contacting 3-1-1 for non-emergency storm-related concerns such as downed branches or obstructed roads.
