Pete Davidson, the former Saturday Night Live star, has made a significant move by selling his Staten Island condo at a loss of $400,000. This decision comes amid his recent breakup with Elsie Hewitt, the mother of their daughter, Scottie Rose. The home eventually went into contract in March and was officially sold this week for $800,000, according to reports.
An insider shared that the sale is part of an effort to "open up funds as they move forward and figure out their next steps." This suggests that the comedian may be preparing for potential child support payments to his ex. Despite the split, both Davidson and Hewitt are reportedly working on things, with a source telling People that they want each other to succeed and be happy. There have been instances where the couple has split and reunited, though it remains unclear if they will rekindle their romance.
The breakup was partially attributed to Davidson's busy schedule. A source told The Sun that while he has been traveling extensively for work, Hewitt felt she needed more support at home after the birth of their daughter. It was a tough situation for Davidson, who needs to balance his career with family life.
