Introducing the Arccos Air: A New Era in Golf Technology
Golf is not an easy sport to play, and I am by no means an expert. However, I have (sorta) figured out my game in the past season and feel like I’m fairly dialed in this year so far. That’s not to say I don’t have a bad day executing, but when things go wrong, I tend to understand what problem is (fixing it on-course is not always the easiest though).
When it comes to improving at golf, practice and holding on to proper swing thoughts and techniques are what’s worked for me. Sometimes I’ve found that tech can be noise, unless it’s strictly knowing what distance you’re looking at for each shot. Then I came across the new Arccos Air system. It’s an improvement on the brand’s original club sensors (that went into the butt end of each club) in that it’s a tiny device you keep on your person during your round to track each and every shot.

A Game-Changing Device
The Arccos Air is a compact device that fits in your pocket or on your belt. It’s no bigger than a divot repair tool, and I keep mine either in a coin or zip pocket where it’s out of the way from balls and tees. There is an attachment to keep it on your belt, but honestly, I haven’t found it to be a hinderance in my pocket.
While you can use it to track shots in real time, I really only look at the app during rounds to make sure the shot tracking is correct. And you actually don’t even need your phone on course, as it’ll sync later after your round. I have found that every so often it’ll incorrectly add a shot in or miss a short putt (you can edit and add shots so everything is correct). The big way I’ve been using it is to take a look after a round to see where I could have done better.

Analytics and Insights
As you can see from my overall SG chart, my approach shots have been needing some work this season. You can dig into that and see what distances give you fits (for me it’s the 125-149 yards I need to work on), what your greens in regulation percentage is like, and even some opportunities with a tip from a coach for each.
You can really go deep into the analytics, or keep it as surface level as you want. Even for areas you’re doing well, there are still things to find to improve upon.

Subscription Requirements
A downside with the Arccos Air is it does require a subscription to use. The good news is that the first year of membership is currently offered with the device in this Prime Day deal. The bad news is after that year is up, the membership costs $199.99 a year. Which is a lot to swallow. I’ll have to see how impactful it is to improving on my ~15 handicap this season to see if it’ll be worth the cost to renew next year.
But for now, it’s really a device that’s simple to use and is helping provide lots of insight into where I can get better on the course.

Final Thoughts
The Arccos Air is a significant upgrade from the previous club sensors. It eliminates the hassle of dealing with multiple sensors and the potential issues that come with them. The device is small, easy to carry, and provides valuable data that can help golfers of all skill levels improve their game.
Whether you're a casual player looking to enhance your skills or a competitive golfer aiming for consistency, the Arccos Air offers a range of features that can make a noticeable difference. With its user-friendly interface and detailed analytics, it's a worthwhile investment for anyone serious about taking their golf game to the next level.
