Creators HQ, the first content creator hub in the UAE and the Middle East, made a remarkable impact at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2026. This prestigious event, held annually in Cannes, France, is recognized as the world's premier gathering for media, advertising, marketing, content creation, and creative innovation. Creators HQ’s participation marked a significant milestone in its journey to become a global leader in the creator economy.

As part of Visioneers, UAE's largest content management and development platform, Creators HQ introduced the 1 Billion Followers Summit to an international audience. The summit serves as a platform to celebrate the achievements of content creators and highlight the strategic vision that underpins this annual event hosted in the UAE. It plays a vital role in shaping the future of the creator economy by fostering collaboration and innovation.

The presence of Creators HQ at the festival attracted nearly 200 international content creators from over 20 countries. These creators have a combined following that reaches hundreds of millions across various social platforms. Additionally, the pavilion drew attention from executives of major social media platforms and global brands participating in the festival.

Notable figures who visited the Creators HQ pavilion included Simon Squibb, Cedric Grolet, School of Hard Knocks, Garyvee, Sean Does Magic, Ossy Marwah, Ahmed Al Nasheet, and many others. The event also brought together leaders in the creator economy, along with founders and executives from some of the world’s largest creator platforms and companies, including TikTok, YouTube, CAA, Edelman, Adobe, komi, Meltwater, Vayner Media, Teachable, Gushcloud, and more.

Exploring Trends and Innovations in the New Media Landscape

The Creators HQ team engaged with international content creators and executives from major global brands at the festival. They explored key shifts and trends defining the new media industry, as well as the innovations reshaping the future of impactful digital content. Through these discussions, the team shared insights on the current state and future of global media, showcasing international best practices and highlighting the technical and creative breakthroughs driving the development of meaningful content.

The conversations also focused on ways to support creative talent and empower content creators. Alia Al Hammadi, Vice Chairperson of the UAE Government Media Office and CEO of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, highlighted the significance of Creators HQ’s participation.
