On March 21, Accra — A team from Stanbic Bank Ghana visited His Eminence, Sheikh Dr. Osman Nuhu Sharabutu, the National Chief Imam, at his home in Fadama to present him with food donations intended for Ramadan.
The visit, which has turned into an yearly custom during the sacred month of Ramadan, was headed by Musah Abdallah, who leads Corporate and Investment Banking at Stanbic Bank, along with Mawuko Afadzinu, leading their Brand and Marketing division.
At the donation ceremony, Mawuko Afadzinu highlighted the enduring partnership between Stanbic Bank and the Chief Imam’s Office, a bond that has endured for more than ten years.
He stated, "Making this trip has turned into a custom for us, and we value the bond we've maintained throughout the last decade. We consider it an honor that isn't lost on us."
Mr. Afadzinu also emphasized the significant role of the National Chief Imam in Ghanaian society. "We value the National Chief Imam since his insights benefit not just our bank, but the entire community and nation. During challenging periods, he has served as a source of resilience and sagacity, and more importantly, he has spurred progress within our country. This is why we have come forward to show our respect and gratitude," he stated.
The National Chief Imam showed his appreciation to the Stanbic team for their kindness and benevolence. He sought blessings from above for these individuals, recognizing the bank's ongoing assistance throughout the last ten years.
