I want to make a statement to ensure that those who split our nation under the guise of language do not achieve their objectives. The Narendra Modi administration has established an Indian Languages Division within the Department of Official Languages aimed at promoting the usage of every Indian language such as Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Assamese, Bengali, among others. Following December, I plan to communicate through written correspondences with citizens, Chief Ministers, ministers, and Members of Parliament in their respective languages. Amit Shah said.
Without naming DMK He claimed that they were using linguistic issues as a cover-up for their scams.
"He stated strongly against those who use linguistic grounds as cover for their corrupt practices... They claim we're opposed to southern languages? Is that what they think? I hail from Gujarat, and Nirmala Sitharaman hails from Tamil Nadu—how could we possibly object to these languages?" he questioned.

"We have worked for languages...I would like to tell Tamil Nadu Government - we have been saying for two years that you do not have the courage to translate medical and engineering study material into Tamil...You cannot do this. When an NDA government comes to power (in Tamil Nadu), we will provide medical and engineering course in Tamil, in Tamil Nadu," he said.
