
Patna ( Bihar )[India], March 22 (ANI): On Saturday, the Rashtriya Janata Dal criticized Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar through placing posters around the ex-Chief Minister’s residence and RJD leader Rabri Devi and charging him with offending women and showing them disregard Mahatma Gandhi and the national anthem.
The poster states "Nayak nahi khalnayak hoon main" (I am not a hero but a villain) and accuses him of offending women and showing them disrespect. Mahatma Gandhi and the national anthem."
This follows a claimed video of Nitish Kumar that appeared to show him Bihar The Chief Minister spoke and gesticulated as the national anthem was being performed at an event in Patna.
Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav uploaded a video on the social media platform X featuring Nitish Kumar at an event on Thursday. He commented, "Please refrain from dishonoring the national anthem, honorable chief minister. Every day you disrespect young people, students, women, and senior citizens. Often, they applaud out of obligation." Mahatma Gandhi is the day of their martyrdom, and they ridicule his sacrifice; at times, they even applaud during the national anthem!" RJD leader said.
He alleged that the Bihar CM stated that he was neither mentally nor physically stable and considered his situation a significant worry for the State.
"P.S.: Allow me to remind you that as the Chief Minister of a large state, you are not demonstrating stability either mentally or physically for brief moments. Having someone in this crucial role while in such an unaware state is deeply worrying for the state. Please do not dishonor Bihar "Like this repeatedly," he mentioned in an X post.
