
Moscow [ Russia ], March 21 (ANI): Russia President Vladimir Putin has issued yet another warning to Ukrainian nationals residing in Russia, mandating they regularize their residency permits by September 10 or face expulsion, according to reports from the Moscow Times citing a presidential decree released on Thursday.
The decree indicated that Ukrainians lacking "legal authorization to remain or live in" Russia " must leave Russia or acquire citizenship within the coming six months and ten days.
According to The Moscow Times, these directives affect individuals holding Ukrainian passports from four areas that are partly under occupation: Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia. Russia alleges to have taken control of these areas in 2022.
