Visakhapatnam (Waltair Division), India, March 21 (ANI): To improve the traveler experience, the Waltair Division of East Coast Railway has launched an onboard lifestyle magazine titled, ' Your Platform Aimed at offering captivating and educational material for travelers, the monthly magazine was introduced as part of the division’s Non-Fare Revenue initiative. It marks the first such venture within Indian Railways and has been executed via the e-auction platform, as stated in an official announcement.
Divisional Railway Manager Waltair Lalit Bohra on Friday, they released the monthly magazine with Senior Divisional Commercial Manager K. Sandeep, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager II K. Pawan Kumar, and the publication's founders—Praveen V, Shankar M, and Karthik PS—in attendance.
Speaking at the event, DRM stated that ' Your Platform , this new magazine aims to provide an entertaining and educational read for passengers, will soon be accessible onboard. Visakhapatnam -Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express, Visakhapatnam Guntur Uday Express, along with Vistadome Visakhapatnam -Kirandul passenger train."
According to the declaration, this program forms part of the Waltair Division's strategy to increase non-fare revenues. It seeks to enhance passenger contentment as well as generate extra funds for Indian Railways. This marks the inaugural initiative of its kind within Indian Railways, executed via an e-auction process.
"' Your Platform "will include a wide array of articles encompassing subjects like railroad cuisine, wellness, scientific discoveries, travel, and much more, providing an enriching and diversified content journey," stated DRM Bohra.
He went on to say in a statement, "The magazine, which debuted today, is receiving positive feedback on the Vistadome coaches." Visakhapatnam -The Araku route, where travelers have offered favorable comments about the new and invigorating method of onboard amusement.
Through ' Your Platform Passengers will be able to enjoy detailed narratives and educational articles about Indian Railways, along with captivating material that delves into different aspects of life and culture. This program seeks to craft an exclusive onboard experience designed not just to entertain but also to enlighten and inform travelers, ensuring a remarkable trip for everyone. (ANI)
