Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews Finally Sell London Penthouse After Significant Price Drops, Embrace New 'Forever Home'
After a considerable period on the market and multiple price reductions, television personality Vogue Williams and her husband, former Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, have officially sold their luxurious London apartment. The couple, who have called the Battersea property home for the past seven years, have now set their sights on a new "forever home" – a period house that will undergo extensive renovations.
The journey to selling their London pad was a lengthy one. Initially listed in the autumn of 2023 for a substantial €6.8 million (£5.7 million), the four-bedroom apartment failed to attract a buyer at that price point. In an effort to entice prospective purchasers, the asking price was subsequently lowered to €6.15 million (£5.25 million) at the start of 2024. However, with the property still available in 2025, further significant price adjustments were made. The couple dropped the asking price to €5.5 million (£4.7 million), and by May, it had reappeared on property listings for an even more attractive €4.6 million (£3.95 million).

Vogue Williams recently shared the exciting news of the sale in her latest vlog, expressing a mix of emotions about leaving the apartment that has been a significant part of their family life. "I'll miss this apartment," she admitted. "We've lived here for seven years; this is the first place we lived together, all our kids were born here, so it's going to be weird saying goodbye." However, her focus is firmly on their new acquisition. "At the end of the day, we have this amazing house that we're going to love so much. This is our forever house. I know that people say that, but it actually is our forever house. It's like my dream home I have in Ireland. And this is the dream home here where I think the kids will grow up."
A Glimpse Inside the Sold Battersea Residence
Before its eventual sale, Vogue and Spencer's London residence was showcased as a sophisticated split-level apartment within an exclusive, gated development housing just eight luxury units. The property boasted an array of high-end features designed for modern living.
Key amenities included:
- A dedicated dressing room.
- Three expansive reception rooms, described as "vast."
- A private bar area.
- A media room for entertainment.
- A home gym for personal fitness.

The location itself was a significant draw, offering proximity to a wealth of local amenities and excellent transport links. Residents could enjoy the beauty of nearby parks and scenic river walks, providing a tranquil escape within the bustling city.

Estate agent descriptions highlighted the apartment's open-plan design, meticulously crafted to maximise natural light and its orientation. The quality of finishes was evident throughout, with high-standard flooring and furnishings.
- Elegant oak flooring contributed to both the aesthetic appeal and practicality of the living spaces.
- Floor-to-ceiling windows were a prominent feature, seamlessly blending the indoors with the surrounding environment. These windows were designed to slide back, effectively dissolving the barrier between the apartment and the outside world.

Beyond the luxurious interiors, the development offered a strong sense of security. In addition to the gated community aspect, residents benefited from allocated parking spaces. A daily concierge service was also on hand from Monday to Friday, adding an extra layer of convenience and security.

While professional photographs of the property were carefully curated to maintain privacy, a candid moment captured Vogue's beloved dog, Winston, who sadly passed away in September 2025. Winston was pictured comfortably settled in his bed, seemingly unbothered by the photography session.

The apartment's decor was a clear reflection of Vogue's distinctive style – bright, colourful, and unapologetically unique. This eclectic taste was evident in elements such as a taxidermy lobster and several pieces of art by Damien Hirst.

Vogue herself acknowledged her bold artistic choices during a house tour in 2023, admitting that her husband's tastes might differ. "I would say we always have a lot of art everywhere," she commented. "All of that is mine bar the bird. Spenny likes to say he doesn't like it, but I love it in the space." This vibrant and playful aesthetic was also a hallmark of the property the couple sold in Howth earlier in 2024, where they realised a profit of €400,000. The couple also maintains ownership of a property in Jersey.

The Next Chapter: A Renovated Dream Home
The newly acquired "dream" home is conveniently located a short distance from their former Battersea residence. Vogue has expressed a desire to move her children to a different school in the vicinity, prioritising the ability to walk them to and from their education.

However, the family will not be moving into their new abode immediately. A significant renovation project is planned, anticipated to take approximately 18 months to complete. Vogue, armed with her degree in quantity surveying, is set to play a hands-on role in overseeing the extensive refurbishment, ensuring her vision for their forever home is brought to life.
