Brooke Hogan Grapples with Regret Over Estrangement from Father's Will

Brooke Hogan, the 37-year-old media personality and daughter of the late wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, has publicly expressed significant regret regarding her decision to remove herself from her father's will prior to his passing. The estranged relationship between Brooke and her father leading up to his death in July 2025, at the age of 71 from a heart attack, has cast a long shadow over her current sentiments.

In a candid appearance on the Hollywood Raw podcast, Brooke revealed that her regret stems not from financial motivations, but from a lack of access to information and decision-making processes concerning her late father's affairs.

"Do I regret that decision? Yes," Brooke stated unequivocally to the podcast host. She elaborated, "Taking myself off of that will, now, it's not the money part because I've never been about the money but it's more about just like..."

The podcast host interjected, offering a potential interpretation: "Not having a seat at the table for decisions being made?"

"Right," Brooke confirmed. "Like, I can't get autopsy results. And it's funny, because now people are treating me like I emancipated myself. And I'm like, just because me and him didn't agree on things and we didn't talk for a little bit, like, it doesn't matter if you don't talk for two years or if you don't talk for two days. Families have their ins and outs. It doesn't mean I'm not his daughter. It doesn't mean I'm not just as important as Nick," she added, referring to her brother, Nick Hogan.

Brooke conveyed a feeling of being treated as an "outsider" due to her decision. She further detailed the circumstances that led her to remove herself from the will back in 2023.

"There were situations that had me so scared. I really took myself off the will because number one, I was actually scared for myself, my family, my safety..."

She emphasized that the potential financial implications were secondary to her profound concerns. "There is not enough money in the world that would matter with what I felt I was facing. There were just too many people that I had solid knowledge of not being good people around my dad. And I tried to tell him. And I felt if I created any more waves that I would be in danger. And that's the truth."

This sentiment echoes earlier statements made by Brooke in September of the previous year. At that time, she addressed her exclusion from Hulk Hogan's will, which reportedly left behind approximately $5 million.

"His decision is no surprise to me," Brooke told TMZ then. "It's what I asked for, I stand by it with no regrets. My dad knows I'm a hard worker and I have been surviving without his money for a long, long time."

The Estate and Family Dynamics

The sole beneficiary of Hulk Hogan's estate is his son, Nick Hogan. Hulk, whose birth name was Terry Bollea, welcomed both Brooke and Nick with his first wife, Linda Claridge.

Brooke revisited her regret in an article published by Page Six on Friday, stating, "I think everybody very clearly understands that I was my dad's protector and I loved him more than anything."

"The reason why I regret it, is because I do not have a place now to get answers," she reiterated.

The inability to make decisions regarding her late father's legacy has been described as a "nightmare." Brooke lamented, "I can't do anything to help my dad after his death, or to find out answers, or to avenge him in any way, shape or form. Because the people that I so badly wanted to get away from are now running the show, which is even more of a nightmare."

Adding another layer to the complex family situation, Brooke indicated to Page Six that she is not currently on speaking terms with her younger brother. She believes her involvement in decisions would be focused on "doing the right thing and making sure that [Hulk] is represented in the correct ways, and his legacy lives on in the most positive way."

"So, you know, there's things I would definitely be doing differently if I were back in that seat," she concluded.

Hulk Hogan's life was not without its controversies, notably the leaked audio featuring the former WWE star using racial slurs against Brooke's ex-boyfriend.

A Daughter's Tribute and Enduring Bond

In the immediate aftermath of his death, Brooke shared an emotional tribute to her father on social media.

"My dad's blood runs through my veins. His eyes shine through my children," she wrote. "And our bond has never broken, not even in his final moments. We had a connection deeper than words, one that spanned lifetimes. I am so grateful that I knew the real version of him. Not just the one the world viewed through a carefully curated lens."

She continued to describe their relationship as a "quiet, sacred bond, one that could be seen and felt by anyone who witnessed us together." Brooke also expressed that a "part of my spirit left with him" after his death, adding that he was "at peace now."

She recalled his perspective on death: "He used to speak about this moment with such wonder and hope. Like meeting God was the greatest championship he'd ever have." Brooke also clarified that she and her father "never 'fought.' It was a series of private phone calls no one will ever hear know or understand..."

Most recently, nine months after his passing, Brooke shared a poignant statement on her Instagram page. Accompanying a black-and-white illustration of Hulk Hogan holding her as a child, she captioned the image with the heartfelt words: "If my love could have saved you, you would have lived forever."
