Water Interruptions Scheduled in Several Areas of Metro Manila and Nearby Provinces
Residents in various parts of Metro Manila, Rizal, and Cavite can expect water interruptions this week due to planned maintenance works. The disruptions are being carried out by Manila Water Company Inc. and Maynilad Water Services Inc. to ensure the continued efficiency and reliability of the water supply system.
Quezon City: Multiple Locations Affected
In Quezon City, several areas will experience water service interruptions. On May 18–19, some parts of the University of the Philippines (UP) Campus will have no water between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to pipe crossover activities along Palaris in front of UP Bethany Baptist Church.
On May 19–20, portions of the villages of Socorro and Masagana will face service interruptions from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. as step testing is conducted at Main Ave. corner 15th Ave., Liberty Ave. corner 15th Ave., and Diego Silang St. corner 20th Ave. to detect leaks.
Additionally, some areas in Barangay Kamuning will have water interruptions on May 20–21 from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. due to the replacement of a line meter in a water system along Kamuning Road cor KE/KF.
Taguig City: Specific Barangays Impacted
In Taguig City, some parts of Barangay Western Bicutan will have no water on May 19–20 from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. because of step testing activities at EP Housing Phase 1. Meanwhile, some locations in Barangay Upper Bicutan will experience water interruptions on May 21–22 during the same hours due to similar testing activities.
Pasig City: Declogging Activities
In Pasig City, certain areas in Barangay Pinagbuhatan will have water service interruptions on May 20–21 from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. due to declogging activities.
Rizal: Leak Repairs and Testing
In Rizal, some places in Barangay Dela Paz, Antipolo, will have no water on May 19–20 from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. due to leak repairs. Additionally, several locations in the villages of San Juan and Muzon in Taytay; San Isidro, Kalayan, Sto. Nino, San Vicente, San Roque, Bagumbayan, San Pedro, Poblacion Itaas, and Poblacion Ibaba in Angono; and Barangay Pag-Asa in Binangonan will also face water interruptions on the same dates and time due to zero pressure testing activities along National Rd. in Barangay San Juan, Taytay, Rizal.
Parts of Barangay San Isidro in Rodriguez will have service interruptions on May 19–20 from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. due to line meter and strainer declogging activities at Eastwood Residences and Eastwood Greenview.
Tondo, Manila: Extensive Maintenance Works
Maynilad reported that several areas in Tondo, Manila City, will face water interruptions. In the villages of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 74, 75, 76, 78, and 81, water service will be disrupted on May 18–19 from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. due to a physical water audit at Moriones Street.
Several places in the villages of 124, 128, 129, 130, 131, 132, 133, 134, 135, 136, 137, 138, 139, 140, 141, 142, 143, 144, 145, 146, 177, 179, 180, 181, and 182 in Tondo will have no water on May 17–24 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. due to leak exploration.
Some areas in Barangay 649 in Tondo will also have service interruptions on May 18–25 from 11:01 p.m. to 3 a.m. because of leak exploration activities.
Binondo and Sampaloc: Extended Interruptions
In Binondo, some areas in the villages of 292, 294, 295, 296, 297, 298, 299, 300, 301, 303, 304, and 305 will have no water service on May 18–25 from 11:01 p.m. to 3 a.m. due to leak exploration. This includes some areas in the villages of 835, 836, 837, 838, 839, 840, and 865 in Pandacan.
In Sampaloc, portions of Barangays 524, 525, 529, 532, 533, and 535 will have service interruptions on May 18–25 from 11:01 p.m. to 3 a.m. due to leak exploration. Some places in the villages of 306, 307, 308, 309, 310, 311, 313, and 315 in Santa Cruz will also be affected.
Caloocan and Valenzuela: Network Maintenance and Dry Runs
Several places in the villages of 198 to 220 and 202-A, as well as some areas in the villages of 36, 39, 40, and 187 to 197 in Caloocan City, will have service interruptions on May 18–20 from 12 a.m. to 3 a.m. due to leak exploration activities.
In Caloocan City, some parts of Barangay 165 will have water interruptions on May 18–19 from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. due to network maintenance.
In Valenzuela City, some parts of Barangay Gen. T. De Leon and Begy. Parada will have water interruptions on May 18–19 from 12:01 a.m. to 4 a.m. because of network maintenance works. Additionally, some locations in Baesa will have no water on the same dates and times due to a dry run at Quirino Highway corner Tandang Sora in Quezon City.
Imus City, Cavite: High Demand Causes Interruptions
In Imus City, Cavite, several places in multiple villages will have no water on May 19–22 from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. due to high water demand. These include Alapan I-C, Anabu I-A, Anabu I-B, Anabu I-C, Anabu I-D, Anabu I-E, Anabu I-F, Anabu II-A, Anabu II-B, Anabu II-C, Anabu II-D, Anabu II-E, Bayan Luma I, Bayan Luma II, Bayan Luma III, Bayan Luma IV, Bayan Luma V, Bayan Luma VI, Bayan Luma VII, Bayan Luma VIII, Bayan Luma IX, Bukandala III, Bukandala IV, Bukandala V, Carsadang Bago I, Carsadang Bago II, Malagasang 1-A, Malagasang I-B, Malagasang I-C, Malagasang I-D, Malagasang I-E, Malagasang I-F, Malagasang I-G, Medicion I-B, Poblacion III-B, Poblacion IV-B, Poblacion IV-D, and Tanzang Luma VI.
