I Wore This Lounge Bra Once — And Ordered Two More

A Comfortable and Supportive Alternative to Traditional Bras
Earlier this summer, a boutique underwear brand called Embrace offered to send me one of its newly launched lounge bras to try. As someone who wears a bra all day long and hates underwire but still craves the support it offers, I was eager to test out the Embrace bra against my picky standards. Fast forward to the day it arrived, and within just 25 minutes of wearing it, I had already opened my laptop and purchased two more with my own money.
The first and most obvious feature of the Embrace bra is how comfortable it feels. It's like throwing on that favorite old T-shirt that's been washed so many times it's become soft and cozy. This bra gives that same feeling, to the point where I often forget I'm even wearing it.
The Perfect Balance of Support and Comfort
The wireless underband is soft and never digs into my ribs like some high-support sports bras I've owned. Yet, it still provides enough lift to keep me feeling supported. I don't have the largest bust, but as someone with sensory issues, I've always hated the feeling of my breasts just hanging without any compression or support. The Embrace bra offers the perfect middle ground.
I can also confirm that I never have to adjust or tug at this bra. It doesn’t ride up during the day or when I’m sleeping (yes, I like to sleep in bras), which I consider an impressive feat, especially considering how much I move around in my sleep.

Soft and Breathable Fabric
Made from a plant-based Austrian modal fabric, the bra’s material deserves a round of applause. As the brand claims, it's “inexplicably soft,” “lightweight,” and “breathable.” So breathable, in fact, that it rarely feels suffocating or imposing, even in the heat of Southern California, where I live.
While the amount of coverage may vary depending on the person, I believe the Embrace bra has just the right amount. If I want to wear lower-cut tops, I can, but I also don’t feel like I'm spilling over. It also features adjustable straps that can be secured in the back to create a racerback for even more lift. The cups have removable pads that I choose to keep in because, unlike other bras, they actually stay in place.
Easy Sizing and Future Expansion
When it comes to choosing the right size, Embrace offers flexible sizing from XS to XL, allowing you to size up or down based on your preferred level of coverage. I’m typically between cup sizes—full B but barely a C—and a 32 band, which makes finding properly fitting bras a challenge. I went with a small in the Embrace, and it fits perfectly.
Currently, the brand only fits A through C cups, but it’s working on expanding to include D through F cups in the future. Use the featured size guide to determine which size category you fall into based on your existing band and cup size—it was very accurate for me.
Multiple Colors and Positive Reviews
I was initially sent the navy color and, as mentioned earlier, wasted no time buying it in camel and black. After reading reviews from other Embrace customers, I learned that I wasn’t the only one who went back to order the entire lineup.
Here are some of the positive reviews:
-
“This bra is perfection! Was searching for a comfy non-polyester wireless bra for a long time and finally found it. Worth every penny! Fabric is so soft and I love all the details like the soft fabric under the bra straps and the gold clasp you can change the straps. Love that it has padding as well. I originally ordered my usual size small (I’m 34A) but had to exchange for a M as the elastic which is very stretchy was a tad tight and I prefer looser. Will be back to order all the colors as they are too good! Thank you.”

“Love this bra. I like that it has removable padding which I like for modesty. It fits my smaller bust really well. The straps and band are so comfortable, I forget I’m wearing a bra. I have the matching bra and panty set in two colors and will be back for the third.”

“As with the other product lines, the lounge bra did not disappoint! The material is very soft and the band does not cut into my sides causing uncomfortable marks. Bra does not ride up with movement either. I will be buying it in black as well!”

“I wore it the whole day yesterday after receiving it and didn’t once feel restricted or like I had to readjust them. I struggle with most bras as the underbust gets quite tight at different parts of the day and/or month and leaves a red mark whenever I take them off. No such thing with these babies! This lounge bra seems pretty seamless under a T-shirt too. Definitely my new daily go-to! Got a size M for my 36B and they fit just right.”
