Gold and Silver Price Trends on July 01

Gold prices have been experiencing fluctuations due to ongoing geopolitical tensions, particularly the US war against Iran. This uncertainty has led to a cautious approach from investors and traders, resulting in continued selling pressure on global markets.

On Tuesday, gold and silver prices faced significant downward trends as market participants remained wary of developments in West Asia and the outlook for US interest rates. According to reports, the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) saw gold futures (August) drop by as much as 1.37 percent or Rs 1,952, reaching an intraday low of Rs 1,40,450 per 10 grams at around 11:50 am. At the last count, the yellow metal was trading at Rs 1,41,124, down over Rs 1,278, or approximately 1 percent. The metal had previously touched an intraday high of Rs 1,41,501, down Rs 900 or 0.63 percent.

Meanwhile, silver futures (September) also declined, falling over 1 percent or Rs 2,387 to an intraday low of Rs 2,20,247 per kg. The white metal was trading at Rs 2,21,715 per kg, down over Rs 900, or 0.41 percent, after touching an intraday high of Rs 2,22,293, a decline of Rs 341, or 0.15 percent.

As of today, the gold rates in New Delhi are Rs 14,220 (24K), Rs 13,036 (22K), and Rs 10,669 (18K) per gram. In Mumbai, the rates are Rs 14,205 (24K), Rs 13,021 (22K), and Rs 10,654 (18K) per gram. Chennai's gold rates stand at Rs 14,399 (24K), Rs 13,199 (22K), and Rs 11,049 (18K) per gram. Kolkata's rates are Rs 14,205 (24K), Rs 13,021 (22K), and Rs 10,654 (18K) per gram.

The gold rates in Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Kerala are all Rs 14,205 (24K), Rs 13,021 (22K), and Rs 10,654 (18K) per gram. Additional cities like Pune, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Coimbatore, Madurai, Vijayawada, Patna, Nagpur, Chandigarh, Surat, and Bhubaneswar also show similar rates.
