Starbucks Officially Acknowledges "Secret Menu" and Launches Contest

For years, Starbucks customers have concocted their own unique drink creations, often referred to as a "secret menu." Now, Starbucks is officially recognizing and celebrating these inventive beverages, giving Starbucks Rewards members a chance to easily order popular customizations directly through the app.

Streamlining Secret Menu Orders

The "offers" tab within the Starbucks app now features a selection of popular drink customizations. This new feature aims to simplify the ordering process, eliminating the need for customers to explain complex recipes to baristas. Instead, customers can simply select their desired drink from the app, and all the specific customizations will be automatically added to their order.

This initiative is inspired by the popularity of the Starbucks Not-So-Secret Menu broadcast channel on Instagram, highlighting the demand for these custom creations.

Featured Secret Menu Drinks

To celebrate this launch, Starbucks has highlighted four new drink customizations on the app:

• Cookies on Top: A decadent treat for cookies and cream enthusiasts, this drink features Cold Brew with two pumps of vanilla syrup, Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam, and a generous cookie crumble topping.
• Dragonfruit Glow-Up: An elevated take on the classic Dragonfruit Lemonade Refresher, this drink incorporates a peach juice blend, is blended to perfection, and topped with Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam.
• Lemon, Tea, & Pearls: A refreshing combination of black tea and lemonade, enhanced with raspberry-flavored popping pearls, reminiscent of those found in the Summer Berry Refreshers.
• Add White Mocha: A twist on the Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, this drink features White Chocolate Mocha Sauce and a topping of Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam.

The Secret Menu Contest

In addition to showcasing existing secret menu drinks, Starbucks is launching a contest, inviting customers and partners (employees) to submit their own beverage customizations.

How to Participate:

From July 14th to July 20th, both customers and partners can submit their favorite beverage customization through the secret menu contest page. All entries will be reviewed, and the top four will be selected as finalists.

Voting:

From August 18th to August 20th, fans can cast their votes for their favorite finalist via the @Starbucks Instagram account.

Prizes:

Each of the four winning finalists will have their beverage customization featured on the secret menu from August 18th to 25th and will receive a $5,000 prize. The Grand Prize winner will receive an additional $25,000 prize.

Crumbl Tests "Dirty Soda" in Canada

Crumbl, known for its rotating selection of gourmet cookies, is now testing "Dirty Soda" at its locations in Canada. This trendy beverage, which typically consists of a soda base, flavored syrups, and cream, is gaining popularity. While currently only available in Canada, there are hints that Dirty Soda may soon be available in US locations.

Crumbl's Dirty Soda offers a wide array of choices, with 46 different drink combinations available. Soda bases include popular options like Coca-Cola, Sprite, Pepsi, Dr Pepper, and Mountain Dew.

Some of the featured Dirty Soda creations include:

Crumbl's Weekly Cookie Lineup

While waiting for Dirty Soda to potentially arrive in the US, Crumbl customers can enjoy the current weekly cookie selection:

• Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunk Cookie: A classic cookie loaded with semi-sweet chocolate chunks and sprinkled with flaky sea salt.
• Sea Salt Toffee Skillet Cookie: A gooey toffee cookie topped with fresh vanilla bean mousse, a drizzle of milk chocolate and caramel, toffee pieces, and flaky sea salt.
• Cookies & Cream Cheesecake: A creamy cheesecake base mixed with cookies and cream pieces, baked on a buttery cookies and cream crust, and topped with whipped cream and even more cookies and cream pieces.
• Churro Cookie: A warm cinnamon cookie with a swirl of smooth cinnamon buttercream and a dusting of cinnamon sugar.

Wendy's $1 Breakfast Biscuit Sandwiches

Wendy's is offering a breakfast deal to kickstart the week. Starting July 14th, customers can enjoy $1 Breakfast Biscuit Sandwiches. These sandwiches provide a protein-packed start to the day, with options containing between 16 and 21 grams of protein.

The $1 Breakfast Biscuit Sandwiches include:

• Honey Buddy Chicken Biscuit (16 grams of protein): A crispy all-white meat chicken fillet topped with sweet honey butter on a warm, fluffy biscuit.
• Sausage, Egg, & Cheese Biscuit (21 grams of protein): Sausage, a fresh-cracked egg, and melted cheese on a soft, buttermilk biscuit.
• Bacon, Egg, & Cheese Biscuit (17 grams of protein): Applewood smoked bacon, a fresh-cracked egg, and melted cheese on Wendy's signature biscuit.

This deal is available without the need for an app. Customers can simply visit their nearest Wendy's to enjoy a protein-filled breakfast.
