Abu Dhabi is making history by introducing public rides in fully driverless robotaxis, a pioneering venture operated in collaboration between WeRide and Uber. The launch is a direct result of WeRide securing a city-level commercial permit for Level 4 autonomous driving, officially granted in late October.
