Dianna Russini and her spouse were enjoying themselves in Manhattan on Saturday, having fun with a large group of friends at a bar near Madison Square Garden in New York beforeBruce SpringsteenHis most recent performance in the city.

Last month, shocking photographs came to light showing Russini walking hand in hand withNew England Patriotshead coach Mike Vrabel at a venue exclusively for adults inArizona, sparking a controversy that resulted in her stepping down from her position as an NFL correspondent with The Athletic.

However, on Saturday, Russini and her husband Kevin Goldschmidt, who works as an executive at Shake Shack, were accompanied by a group of approximately 10 to 15 friends at the Bourbon and Branch Bar — a well-known location where fans congregate before events at MSG.

A witness shared with the Daily Mail that Russini and Goldschmidt both appeared in high spirits, and their group was very energetic as they enjoyed drinks and meals while people assembled before the event. There was no indication that the couple was facing difficulties following a scandal that continues to cause significant impact within the NFL.

They were enjoying themselves immensely," the witness stated. "They were having a lot of fun with a large group of friends. A lot of food and drinks were ordered to their table, and they seemed very relaxed considering all that had happened.

Russini and her husband were seated across from one another. That bar tends to get crowded before performances, but she didn't appear to mind if someone might have spotted her.

Russini, who resides in New Jersey, the home state of Springsteen, strongly denied engaging in an affair with Vrabel, who is also married. In her resignation letter to supervisors at the New York Times-owned Athletic, she stated she would not allow her professional life to be shaped by the shocking photographs.

A married father of two, Vrabel took a different approach when he finally addressed the media before the NFL draft in late April.

"I accept responsibility for my actions and the disruptions I caused to those I care about most—my family, this football team, this organization, and our fans," he stated.

Vrabel later began seeking guidance, missing the third day of the draft and acknowledging he wanted to be a better role model as a husband, father, and head coach.

Russini, on the other hand, removed her social media profiles before a series of additional images of her and Vrabel started to surface.

The most harmful evidence seemed to reveal them being close as early as March 2020 at a bar in Tribeca, Manhattan—just a short distance from where she was spending time with friends this Saturday.

Footage from a video also surfaced showing them taking a romantic boat ride, which is said to have occurred just a few months prior to her giving birth to their first son.

Russini and Vrabel are said to have rented a boat for two or three hours in June 2021, while he was still coaching the Tennessee Titans and she was covering him for ESPN.

A source familiar with the rental stated that Vrabel and Russini were the only individuals present, and this assertion was confirmed by a signed company waiver examined by TMZ.

Russini welcomed her first son, named Mike, in August 2021. TMZ stated that Russini chose the name in honor of her brother, Michael Russini, rather than the current Patriots coach.

Last weekend, another suggestive video of the couple surfaced from a Barstool podcast episode where Vrabel and Russini competed against each other in a Family Feud-style challenge.

Inside, Russini—seemingly seated on her bed—is asked: "Tell me something a man might do to put a woman in the right frame of mind."

No hesitation, she responds, "Kiss her! This is solid advice for you all."

Vrabel, who has been married to his wife Jen for more than twenty years, then suddenly jumped in to reply: 'I'm paying very close attention. I'm so excited.'

A video clip from a 2021 episode of ESPN's Get Up has recently come to light, in which Russini talked about her marriage.

I'm married to an average person," she said at that time. "I don't share much about him. If I were married to someone attractive, I would post excessively.

Her ESPN colleagues later provided Russini an opportunity to clarify, which she did by saying, "We're average together."

However, on Saturday night, the couple appeared to be moving past any issues from the past few weeks by securing one of the most sought-after tickets to witness the final New York performance of Springsteen's fully booked tour.

Vrabel has recently resumed his coaching role with the Patriots, beginning the initial stages of preparations for the 2026 NFL season. He has just concluded the rookie minicamp, and enthusiasm for the sport's return has increased following the release of the new season's schedule this week.

The Patriots open their season with a Super Bowl replay against the Seattle Seahawks, followed by a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, who announced on Saturday night that Aaron Rodgers will be returning.

Although Russini left her position at The Athletic, the Patriots have remained loyal to Vrabel as their head coach. He has a long-standing connection with the team—having also won the Super Bowl three times as a player with the Patriots.
